This is for my own learning purposes, and will probably be very basic to Cocoa hands. This app will open with 2 windows. In the left window will be a field where I can type in a name, like Mary or John. In the right window, their address will be spit out after I've typed in their name and hit enter in the left window: Mary, 123 Maple Lane, Big City, OH 11111, or John, 456 Cedar St., New City, IL 22222.
If I type in a name on the left window that's not part of my known data, the right window will just say "not available" (no NSAlerts needed.)
NSMutableDictionary should be used.
A plist should be created that has data that looks like this:
"at sign""Mary", "at sign""123 Maple Lane, Big City, OH 11111"
"at sign""John", "at sign""456 Cedar St., New City, IL 22222"
(I had to type out "at sign" above in place of a real "at sign" because RentACoder form prevents me from using a real "at sign")
The purpose of this is for me tp: see how NSMutableDictionary works; see a plist in action; see how to compare strings; see how actions in 1 window can effect results in another window.
This doesn't have look pretty, just basicly functional. I'm not confident in my Cocoa skills enough to put all this together.
