I have a MAXIMUM of $1000 to spend on this project. I am looking for a News and Article website such as the following: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] (theonion picture) PRESENTATION: It must be clean, look professional and be unique - not a template! THE BACKEND: It must be a content management system, such as Joomla but needs to be edited. The content management system must allow me to have categories/departments in which staff members can be assigned to, and allow only those staff members to post new stories and articles in. Categories must be easily manageable (i.e - Add/Remove/Edit) and allow sub-categories to be placed within. THE FRONTEND: On the main index page the latest stories/articles added must be displayed on there, with which category it is from (please take a look at [login to view URL] and TheOnion picture). Then the menu bar will (like FHM) send you to each seperate category in which you can read there news/articles. CATEGORIES: General - World News - UK News Automotive - Motorbike - Car Babes Games - New Releases - Cheats, Hints and Tips - Arcade Entertainment - Movies - Music - TV Above are those I want implementing into the website straight away, but as stated, it must allow easy add/remove or edit of categories. (Those with a '-' before are sub-categories of the category above). NEWS/ARTICLES: New stories and articles must be added easily, with an automatic format, so that you can upload your pictures and write your story and it will put your story and pictures into format automatically on the frontend. Staff members must also be able to publish news/articles quickly and easily. Every article must be able to be rated and commented on by registered users. REGISTERED USERS: Must allow users to register on the website, create there own profile, chat to others via chatroom or Private Message, rate and comment on other users pictures too. GALLERY: Must have a gallery in which every registered user can post there pictures up, and have random pictures displayed on main website page. OTHER PAGES: Contact Us Advertise Help Privacy Terms & Conditions About us The main website I like the look of is [login to view URL] due to its layout of categories and departments, it is a perfect example of what I want, however the design must be better looking and more professional than just 'dumped' there. Also require advertising spots around the website, easily updatable by the admin panel. EVERYTHING on the website must be easily updateable by the admin panel, and everything in all categories must be easily updateable by staff members in that category. I probably havent mentioned everything, but please feel free to ask questions. As I said, MAXIMUM of $1000. No template, must be a unique and fully working design, that I will have full rights over. Also, no time limit on this project. Please show me examples of your work. If you are chosen, and do a great job of this project you will get mentioned to others, AND will be used again for alot more work, specially when our new additions arrive in around two - three months!
