Drupal Developers

The candidate must have customized Theme Development/authoring experience in Drupal WordPress and Joomla will be an added advantage. 4-5 Years minimum experience in Drupal Theme Development and Core PHP Development, Python experience will be an added advantage. Advanced/Expert proficiency level in Drupal 7, PHP 5, JavaScript, JQuery, MySQL, HTML4 & 5, CSS2 & 3, XML and doing things “The Drupal way”. Experience with other JS frameworks will be an added advantage. Ability to work on and prioritize multiple tasks at any given time. Strong in DRUPAL-7 on LAMP/WAMP stack with experience in SolR, Memcache and performance tuning techniques on Drupal portal landscape along with knowledge of Drupal caching tools and techniques. Should have in-depth understanding of Drupal core architecture, be capable of assessing community modules in terms of performance and security and have experience in developing custom modules for high-traffic and security-critical sites. Knowledge of social networking is preferable. He should have analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Essential Profile in detail: • 4+ years’ experience in website development using Drupal, PHP & MySQL • Mandatory 4+ years’ experience on Drupal Themes and Modules development • Extensive knowledge of Drupal 6 & 7, exposure to Drupal 8 • Experience in writing custom modules on Drupal (not website maintenance of Drupal but actual custom built modules) • Experience in working on Apache Solr, Apache Web server, including configuration, mod_rewrite and mod_security • I18n/locale experience with Drupal translation • Expertise in o Drupal Core o HTML4 &5, CSS2&3, JavaScript o PHP o MySQL o Ajax, JQuery and Json/XML parsing o Cron Jobs • Experience with multimedia technologies (audio, video, streaming, etc.) • Understanding of cross-browser, cross-platform constraints • Understanding of mobile sites • Exposure to DRM • Extensive knowledge of forms, views and schema APIs • Exposure on integrating third party APIs into Web sites • Good understanding of responsive/adaptive design and grid systems • Strong Quality Assurance skills – being able to review work and thoroughly test code • Ability to translate design files into pixel-perfect Web sites and applications that work across major browsers and platforms
