I require a program which allows me to record whether the Java Swing components (button, check box, combo box, etc) of an application are accessible or not. I need a facility to link this program to a database where the information entered will be stored, and a facility to create and print a report from the saved information.
The purpose of this application is to ensure that programmers/developers are creating accessible Java applications. It is basically a testing mechanism to record whether Java applications are accessible (by "accessible" I mean blind people who use screenreaders can also use the application successfully). I have a list of Swing components, and a list of testing criteria for each of these - I then need to record a 'Yes', 'No', or 'N/A' response to each, depending on the application being tested. Once this form is filled in by the tester, the responses need to be recorded in a database, and an option needs to be available for a report to be generated from the information entered.
I hope this makes sense, it's not as complicated as it sounds! Send me a message if anything is not clear.
