Looking for someone to finish making a "digg" clone website. The last coder I had did some of the work, you can finish what he made, start over, or use open source code from something like [url removed, login to view] The idea is not to compete with digg in any way, just to create a similar voting system, which I will use for another purpose. Here is a summary of what's required, as it actually works differently from [url removed, login to view]: 1) Digg-like voting system except with limitations *user can only post 2 stories *users can only vote (digg) 3 stories max *unlike digg, stories dont go to a website, they go to a project page on this site, so the headline goes to a project page with a text summary, comments and picture * generic categories like digg, to organize all the posts 2) user profiles (pics, generic user info), need an admin system to moderate users that are bad, 3) Finally, the stories posted follow a schedule * stories can be posted and voted on for 5 days, after that, only the top 5 are shown on the front page, they re-set to zero, and people can only vote once, to pick a winner. * after each week, all previous stories go into an archive of stories, except the top 4 from last week, which automatically are shown with 1 vote. 4) Site must fit a design I have made, its already been converted into html/css for you. 5) I have attached a word doc with other features id like for the site. Feel free to either include them in your bid price, or to give me a separate price for those features. Thank you, please contact if you have any questions. -A
