We want to develop an online application where users will choose some stock (from a selection of stocks offered there) and guess how many cents their pick will appreciate (or depreciate) within some time interval, say until the end of the current trading session.
The top contestants will receive prices or perhaps even a pre-defined amount of money.
The site will be subscription-based, i.e. users will subscribe in order to compete, so there will be a need for SQL databases development there. Also the website will be able to receive stock quotes in real-time from a source I will specify and display them, for the users to place their bets accordingly.
All graphic design can be supplied by us; we just need the development. There will possibly also be an introductory video explaining the mechanics of the application to new users, so knowledge of Flash (or any other animation program, to produce that video) is not a prerequisite but will be appreciated.
