Google maps game map additions

I have a google maps application where I am displaying on a map points from a kml file or files I have an initial set of points marked, and I wish to add more kml files I'd like to have sub categories but am not sure how to add the sub categories. A similar mapping application is the [login to view URL] application. This is for a different game and I will revela to the successful bidder I can outline here though in general what I am referring to: the side bar woudl look like this Ports -Port A -Port B - etc Creatures -Creature Type A --Creature A Location 1 --Creature A Location 2 --etc -Creature Type B --Creature B Location 1 --Creature B Location 2 --etc In the above example all would have check boxes next to them to toggle divs. Ports would toggle a div to show all the ports and select all the ports or by clicking on Ports, it would toggle the div to reveal the port names and a single port could be selected and displayed on the map If the Creatures main item is clicked it only toggles the div that reveals the names of creatures, which have checkboxes and if one of these are ticked it will show the locations of the creatures on the map. I would like to get this main part of functionality going. I have an initial part done, but need to add the creatures, I have the ports already. If this goes well there will be new projects on RAC for this application I doing for continued development. So I would like to do small bits at a time. Requirements would be knowledge and experience with google maps api, and css, javascript abilities.
