MYOB Data Import

We are an wholesale company operating in Australia. Our operation has a website with a product order form scripted in Perl. We have about 180 products. Our clients retailers complete the order form by entering the quantity of each product they require. The perl script then calculates totals for each product, GST and grand total and then sends the order to us by email. We currently manually enter the order from the email into our MYOB accounting software to create a customer invoice. We require an experienced PHP Developer with sufficient knowledge and experience with MYOB to develop a system to automate the process of importing the customer order data output from the order form script into MYOB. If the standard email output from the current Perl script is not suitable for conversion/import to MYOB, then this project will include the development of a new HTML order form and PHP processing script that outputs order data in a suitable format for import into MYOB. Please refer to the attached image of part of the current order form. Products are listed in this form by barcode and product description in product groups. When a wholesale client places an order, they enter a number in the quantity field and the form calculates the value of the respective dollars field. As more quantities are added, the form script calculates the dollar value and updates the values in the discount, sub-total, GST and Total fields. It is important that this order form process is maintained as a shopping cart is too slow and cumbersome for this ordering process. The online order form must be at least as convenient to use as the existing Perl form. Importation into MYOB must be very convenient and take a few seconds, not minutes.
