I wish to have a form of session control to allow committee members access to php files in a password protected folder to edit application forms received via existing on-line formmail entries that populate a mySQL database.
I currently rely on the username and password combination on the password protected folders on the server, but believe a better method would require authentication each time and be more secure.
The project would be to demonstrate this using an existing test input form and linked database on my server so I can implement the technique to live data examples myself.
