We’re looking for a developer, or team of developers, to help us build a website similar to [login to view URL] but geared for sports betting. The website will allow 2 types of users to register: Experts and Followers. Experts will be able to place virtual (not real) wagers on sporting events from the website, and the best performing Experts will be displayed in a results chart. While users will be able to see Expert’s overall results (winning percentage, amount of bets placed, sports categories betted on, and consecutive wins/losses), users will not be able to view live bets (bets for events that have not started, or are not completed). Only followers will be able to do so. In order to become a follower, a user will need to open a followers account, and they can then select experts to follow to see the complete information. A few extra notes: • As mentioned above, the in addition to the bets placed, we will collect the following information for each expert: winning percentage, amount of bets placed, sports categories betted on, and consecutive wins/losses • The users will not pay for the service, but we would like the ability to pay Experts a specific amount for each follower they have. • Please take a close look at ZuluTrade for a good understanding of what we’re looking for. The overall service will be almost the same, but catering to the sports betting community. • The sporting events will need to be pulled dynamically from a 3rd party. We have not yet found the appropriate API to use, and we’re open to suggestions or any advice you can provide. Otherwise, we’re hoping to partner with an existing betting site to pull that information. Please only bid on this project after having a complete look at our description, and the provided resources.
