City Guide Website - Based on AI Design Files - PHP/Database

This is a large tourism website for a city. The website will list resources for local activities, restaurants, lodging, guides, maps etc. Local business owners can login to update their own information. Website also includes a section for Real Estate where homeowners can list their properties for sale or rent and list availability, an events Calendar, and a Classifieds section. The site also features a map with clickable points which bring the user to the associated page on the site. The entire site is already designed using AI files. We also have much of the CSS/HTML coding done by another developer, and will supply you with the CSS/HTML that we have. I need you to program the site in PHP, including all database and admin features, and make all the functions of the site work. A few notes: A) Adobe Illustrator CS5 is required. (cs4 and cs3 will not work for this project, as the designer has implemented things which are only viewable on CS5) You can download a trial of CS5 from www.adobe.com. B) We are considering using Joomla for this, but are open to your suggestions as to which CMS system is correct for this. C) Attached to this bid request, I've attached PDFs of all the pages/templates. These should give you an understanding of the layout of the site, and all the required features. D) Everything should be database driven and all content should editable using the backened admin. E) The designer is very specific about fonts, colors, and spacing --- so we need someone with a good eye for this with superb CSS styling skills. ** Please see below for detailed project outline as well as an attachment with PDFs of the individual pages ** ## Deliverables Breakdown of Website Sections: 1) Homepage (see [login to view URL]) 2) Lodging: Rental properties are listed and searchable by category, price, dates of availability, # of bedrooms, neighborhoods, etc. Can have "sponsored listings" that show up first. Each property has a "reservation request form" that is emailed to property owner. Property owners can login to update and add property info, and update availability. Restaurants are searchable/sortable by cuisine, price, and other ammenities. These points of interest should be clickable and link to the individual business listings. Users can login to post classified, and post to events calendar. Business owners can signup, and list their business info. Visitors can contact the business using a contact form popup (see [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL]) 13) Advertiser signup (see [login to view URL]) + Further specifications & requirements: *All pages to include space for banner ads and featured business ads, as well as potential google ads on right side. * Personal sub page for each business/rental, which owners can create and modify should include: -text & photo Slideshow (not Flash) -contact info -view counter -Availability calendar owners can modify (lodging) -Personal subpages should have a special personalized url, such as "[login to view URL]" * Comprehensive hacking defenses: Website should be secure from hackers. * CAPTCHA support on all forms. * Advertising on site is all manageable by the administrator. Detailed advertisement tracking is required. Advertising data (income, impressions, clickthroughs, etc) should be all stored, and should be exportable to accounting software (Quickbooks compatible). * Google analytics and google adsense conversion tracking should be implemented. * Each page should be search engine optimized with keywords and descriptions. * Weekly status reports required. This is a time-sensitive project, so meeting deadlines is important.
