Excel Spread Sheet Date needed to be extracted.

I am need of someone who has advanced skills with Excel and the ability to "crunch" data. I know the information that I want to get from the data that I have but my skill with building formulas is very weak. Here is what I need in detail. I have stock prices that are listed in columns. There is DATE, TIME, OPEN, HIGH, LOW,CLOSE columns. That is all of the columns. I need to look at the time periods minute by minute and see the points between the high and the low. Now here is the difficult part. Lets say in row 1 the LOW was 50 and the high was 75. That is 25 points spread but if in row 2 the low 70 and the high was 105 then in the two minute time period ( the low that was in colume 1 and the high in column 2 )it went from 25 to 105. That is a spread of 80. Now in row 3 lets say the price went back down a few points. That means in two minutes there was a spread of 80. This is the kind of information I am attempting to locate from the stock prices. If you were to look at this information on a graph, you would see a sharp rise in the price of the stock within two minutes. Then after that two minute period you would see the stock hovering around the high. gaining a little then dropping a little. If the stock price continued to rise then I would want to see the stock price LOW to HIGH in the time frame that it rose. Suchas 10 minutes. Then I would see perhaps a 200 point rise in that 10 minutes. There is more information that I would like to view from this spread sheet but it is very complex to explain here. I would like to begin with this part of the program then add piece by piece as I need it. Therefore, this project is as I just explained it but with the notion that I will continue to use the programmer and make additions as we progress. The output will be to CSV file. This is the basis for the idea and if you have questions be sure and ask. I will state in closing once again that this little part is only one of many different items that I want to extra from this spread sheet. I fully understand that each new item that I need to extract will involve paying another fee. ## Deliverables I can provide the programmer with the exact data that I want to use. The best way to obtain this data is from a site that you can download it from. Very easy to do but it will take a few steps to follow. I will provide that link so you can work with the actual data. I have deceived to post as many of the details as I can on this post so everyone will know more accurately what my goals are with this project. I fully understand that this is going to be a bit more time and cost a bit more. Now for the details. I do not have a idea how to display this information in a easy to read format as of yet. Perhaps you can help me with that idea. This information will be accessed by another program and comparisons will be made. The other program is not yet written. That is project #2 for me. I am interested in viewing PERCENTAGES and not just the price. Lets begin with GRAPH #1. This is a sample how the data is laid out in Excel. Look at the HIGH and LOW Then take a look at GRAPH #3. This is how the price will been seen on a line graph. I know that the increments are not correct but this is meant to explain the idea. During 22:22 (One Minute) The price went from 1.2620 to 1.2650. That is 30 points rise. Then as you see the price went down a little and went up a little. That shows the end of the spike move. A total of 30 points during the time from of 22:22. DATA NEEDED. Over the past 60 months during a one minute period, what was the greatest spike in points? The example here is 30 points. But was there a 150 point spike during a one minute period? DATA NEEDED. Over the past 60 months how many occurrences of 30 point spikes were there? Example. 60 months, 30 point spikes, 400 occurrences UP spike, 325 occurrences DOWN. DATA NEEDED. Over the past 60 months what was the highest spike during a one minute period? Then list from highest to lowest. Example, 60 months, 150 points, 135 points, 120 points, 95 points, 65 points, 55 points, DATA NEEDED. Now look at a two minute time frame and ask the same questions above. Keep in mind that I am looking for a low and a high spike movement. That means if the price went from a low of 1.2620 to a high of 1.2650 in one minute but then in the second minute it went from 1.2650 to a high of 1.2680 that means that this movement would be log as a two minute spike moving from 1.2620 up to 1.2680 which is a 60 point spike in two minutes and the first one minute would not count. So I would like to have the spike count for 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, 11, 12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19, 20 minutes. The number of occurrences over the past 60 months. Now look at GRAPH #3. Green #1 to Green #3 is the movement of the price. When the price begins to move suchas the price located near #3 then that is the end of the spike . Blue #4 to Blue #5 is the spike. DATA NEEDED- list the spikes from highest to lowest over the past 60 months. DATA NEEDED-list the number of occurrences that went up. DATA NEEDED-list the number of occurrences that went down Blue #5 to Yellow #9. Yellow #9 is half the amount of the total spike. Example. if the total of this spike went up 100 points then the Yellow #9 is 50. DATA NEEDED- what percentage of the spikes that took place in each time frame went down from Blue #5 to Yellow #9? Example, 200 point spike in one minute. Total over the past 60 months was 300 of them. 50% of the spike went to yellow #9 within 30 minutes. 100% of the spikes went to yellow #9 with in 8 hours. DATA NEEDED- if the price did go to Yellow #9 what was the time frame that it took place within? Look at Pink 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16. Was it within 30 minutes Pink 12, or within one hour PINK 14? The pink number represent the time frames that it took for the price to move back to Yellow #9. So break it down to 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1.5 hours, 2 hours, 2.5 hours, 3 hours, 3.5 hours, 4 hours 8 hour hours, 24 hours or 48 hours. DATA NEEDED- From Blue #5 down to Blue #4 I need the same information as above. What percentage of the spike went down to blue #4 and in what time frames? DATA NEEDED- Then from Blue#5 what percentage went from blue #5 to purple #10 and in what time frames? DATA NEEDED- What percentage from Blue #5 went to yellow #9 then to Purple #10? DATA NEEDED-What perentage went from Blue #4 down to purple #11 and within what time frame? OK, I tried to keep this correct. But let me summaries what I am looking for with the price movements. I would welcome any help and ideas that might make it easy. Also, I need to have this in a easy to read format of some sort but later another program will be using this information for evaluation. Summary: I want to look at all of the spike and find out what was the highest point spike in all of the different time frames. What was the second highest spike in the same time frames. What percentage of these spikes went higher and how long did it take for them to get there? What percentage of the spikes went lower and how long did it take for them to get there? If they went higher I need to determine how much higher. Further to explain, if the price goes from blue #5 down to Yellow #9 within 30 minutes then 75% of the time over the past 60 months the price went to purple #10 that is useful info for me. But if it went from Blue #5 down to Yellow #9 within 2 hours and 100% of the time if it took 2 hours to go to Yellow #9 it went to purple #11. That is useful.
