I need someone who can design the best web look. Our idea is to take over market share of [url removed, login to view] (the way that myspace did with facebook) I want to give it a new look with better options and implement a business plan and model behind the sight.
I got a guy that worked with Disney in "the little mermaid" and he created a logo and a character. With that we will use it on the sight and hopefully create the character involvement when we market
I have some good ideas and I need someone who can throw around some ideas with me to find the best solutions

I have created sights in the past so don't email me unless you are experienced and you know you can do this project. I want a clean site developed with a strong backend database structure developed....I know there are a lot of portals out there but we are looking to really bring it up to an all new level with the new technology.
I will need to see a resume and examples of previous work...NO new developers...This is a big project and will require someone with some real development and design skills.
That is not meant to be mean or personal...it is just business. There are a lot of people on this and I need people to respond that know they can get the job done. Otherwise it gets to overwhelming.

s NEEDS To be able to refine the search to reach the smaller cities.
Ø Maybe have them able to search the large city of choice and then include listings of up to 2 other alternate cities

Ø OK, GOT IT ??" have a search limiter on the main home page, if chosen limits the ads to the search limiter.
§ Example. San Diego has about 15 cities inside it. You could use the search limiter to only pull up the ads from the city in San Diego called “Coronado??….

s Photos to be AJAX (I don’t want them to have to refresh the page…they scroll over the group of small pictures and the large picture will change according to the small picture they are currently on

s Use the whole screen (adaptive to the type of moniter being used…but the site should be able to adapt to the screen size…ie widescreen or regular)
