My company has a site here: [login to view URL]
This site has a few bugs, unrelated to the core functionality of the site. Your job is to fix these bugs - after that, we may want to give you more complicated improvements to make to the site. You must be proficient with Ruby to qualify for this job. It might also help if you are good with Amazon EC2, where the production site runs.
You will check out the github repository, run the site locally to make and test your changes, and check in your changes to a new branch.
The bugs you should fix are as follows:
0) document in the GitHub wiki how to run the site locally on your computer - this is not a bug, but we'd like this done
1) some string display are broken, and display variables instead of the correct numbers. For example: "{{count}} days ago."
2) Users have trouble registering new accounts
* some email addresses don't work - we think it is any non .com email address, for example test456@[login to view URL]
* the confirmation email sent back to users has a broken link in it
3) our logo overlaps the word "Map Warper" in the top right hand corner of the site - we would like the words "Map Warper" moved to the right, and they should be displayed as a white font.
