First coder simpüle did nothing and only wasted my time.

So your bid should include a time frame. If you won't show any useful results in it, we cancle the job.

You get files and installed version of Indexu 5.4.1 (latest v5 stable) from [url removed, login to view]

Than the job is to transfer my old indexu (round about v3) from (url in attachement) to indexu 5.4.1

Means rebuild my old templates into the new indexu system.

Transfer my database into the new system so urls are unchanged and I have still my data!

May be check if database transfer is correct, because in past I started in mysql v4 and than got mysql v5.

Also old version is runing on PHP4, new one will run on PHP5.

I did some own hacks in old indexu to get mod rewrite working as I needed, show last searched with static links and so on.

I'm not sure, but I think some or most of them are now standart in v5.4.1 or you can grab code from [url removed, login to view] hacks.

Indexu has some small update routines, but I think you can't use them because of my old source and sql changes, so you must be able to understand and compare the script and sql.

It won't ba hard, but there is some hand work.

Do some improvements like:

Increase template witdh to ~970 by adding a third colum on the right. (header increasing to the right and bwlow in content area thwe third colum.)

Fix some browser bugs of the old design if we find them so

At the end my old page is readdy to use prepared in indexu v5.4.1

I think it is not a job for a power coder. It is more for someone you like to work with Smarty templates and rework / fix websites.

If you do your work good, you get directly a second job with indexu script.
