OSC Shipping (repost)

Lets try this again.... I need to find a solution to achieve the desired shipping rates for oscommerce. I have 2 scenarios and can split the cart into 2 seperate installs if absolutely necessary. Here's the situation: Selling Widgets (2 categories: Plastic Widgets and Metal Widgets) Metal Widgets are divided into subcategories (sm, md, lg, xlg) Plastic Widgets to ship to 1 of 2 zones (US and Rest of World) Shipping rate should be per item and the rate should decrease as the quantity ordered increases. Example: Within US: 10 plastic widgets: 2.00/widget 20 plastic widgets: 1.80/widget 30 plastic widgets: 1.60/widget Outside of US: 10 plastic widgets: 4.00/widget 20 plastic widgets: 3.60/widget 30 plastic widgets: 3.20/widget...etc Metal Widgets shipping to 1 of 4 zones (US, Europe, Africa, Rest of World). Flat rates would apply per item/per zone. Example: Sm Widget: US: 10/widget Europe: 12/widget Africa: 14/widget Rest World: 16/widget Md Widget: US: 15/widget Europe: 16/widget Africa: 17/widget Rest World: 18/widget Lg Widget: US: 20/widget Europe: 21/widget Africa: 22/widget Rest World: 23/widget xLg Widget: US: 22/widget Europe: 23/widget Africa: 24/widget Rest World: 25/widget I'm getting way too confused trying to figure this out! If I have to, I can also avoid some confusion by simply creating 2 separate stores for the Plastic Widgets and 1 for the Metal Widgets. I'm open to all suggestions and/or better ways of doing this!
