Need to have a drupal 5 or drupal 6 module

I am looking to build myself a website on Drupal for teaching martial arts. All my requirements will be met through available modules of version Drupal6 or drupal5. in Drupal 7 i am misssing lot of modules. But i need to have LTI integrate the site with moodle and blackboard possibly with other LMS. There is a drupal 7 module but i cannot use it because some other requirements are not in drupal7. The work is to write a drupal module (version 6 or 5 to) use with LMS
