NEW Volunteer Fire Brigade Database

I am the Captain of a fairly active Fire Station where I have around 50 members underneath me and wish to create a database to preform all of the following things I have a very high interest in making this data base go live. these are the list of this I wish to create within this database Members Create list of ranks (Capt, SDC, DC, AF, VF, BF, Pres, Sec, Tres, etc) Manage service personnel (Contact info, Emergency contact, allergies) Inactivate personnel and keep their history Each FF has a login and password Track medical injuries while on RFS actives Track certifications and their expiration dates Enter logs including station activities and non-incident activities (possibly electronic sign on) Track financial and active members FIRS Reporting Track calls by type (Fire, MVA, and so forth) Quickly and easily enter call information to track the brigades call history Create reports to track call attendance/response, call history graphs, and man-hours. Create reports to show where all your calls were on a map (Current format works well, maybe a change of UI) Training Create a list of instructors, training types, and training subjects Track certifications Quickly and easily enter training events Print training reports by FF name, date, or training subject Create a schedule quickly and easily, and then email the schedule to all personnel with one click Equipment Ordering Current Format would be suitable with additional options to work well. Track any item with an expiration date such as batteries, hose testing deadlines, gear replacement deadlines, equipment maintenance/inspection deadlines, etc. Manage your hose inventory, record inspections, create reports Specify the number of days notice for each individual item Emails are sent automatically to equipment officer when an item nears expiration Vehicle Inspections Design a custom appliance Inspection form Enter appliance Inspections Quickly and easily view/print an appliance check list or enter an item check Track each crew's performance with automatic weekly reports and schedule summaries Track appliance problems via emails sent automatically to designated personnel (capt, equip off) when checks are entered and automatic weekly reports. Breathing Apparatus Manage Air Cylinders, back plates, and Masks in the brigade Record inspections, specify re-inspection date Create reports PrePlanning Enter Pre Plans by address/location Track construction, utility, contact information and even attach photos Print or save PDF reports for easy reference when en route to the scene Manage all water sources (Hydrants, Cisterns, Pools, Ponds, Rivers, Lakes, Streams, etc.) Record hydrant inspections Create reports Create hydrant/water source maps I would really love to see this GO LIVE and be utilized more freely by the members of the brigade. The creation of this database is to manage all of the brigade's assets, incident calls, equipment ordering, member details, hourly reports, looking at making this a live document possibly creating a intranet. I have also got a plan that if we can do an electronic sign on that we can arrange for it to email fire control in a form of a card so all comms operators and Fire Control staff are aware who is on the truck.
