I have a website with a blog and a custom post_type for Videos (named video). Along with various taxonomies attached to it (Video Categories, Video Tags, etc.) I am trying to set up a search function to search just the video taxonomy and another to search just the blog taxonomy. There will be a search box in each of these pages to slim down the results. Here are the pages: Blog: [login to view URL] Video: [login to view URL] You can see the search box on the top left of the page that should allow for the user to only search for items in this section of the site. Here is a post on Stackoverflow with a little more info on what I was trying to do and were I got stuck. [login to view URL] There is also a universal search box at the top right of every page that lets the user search for anywhere on the site. This seems to work. I am using the WP Extended Search plugin to make it search the video taxonomy. I am also using the SearchWP Live Ajax Search plugin to get a live search box to appear below this universal search box. I would like it to be included in the other search boxes as well and to function a little faster (if another solution is available let me know). In summary I need: 1. Search box for Blog post type and all of its taxonomies with AJAX live search 2. Search for Video post type and all of its taxonomies with AJAX live search 3. Contiune to have a universal search at top right with AJAX live search 4. If possible speed up the AJAX live search. If you think you can help place a bid.
