# Specs web shop.
I am converting my existing website from asp to CMS using wordpress. This is work is now for 80% completed ([url removed, login to view]). For the webshop we are using the standard wp - ecommerce plugin. We require some modifications on the standard wp e-commerce plugin.
# 1. WP e-commerce plugin.
The webshop is based up the standard plugin for webshops: wp e-commerce. I have bought the gold cart extension. This extension needs to be installed.
# 2. Webshop modifications
We have currently installed a basic e-commerce site based upon wp e-commerce. The following modifications are required:
1. Calculation of discount
2. Payment gateway
3. Shipping cost
4. Delete first name
5. Shipping address
6. Additional attribute on products
7. product slider
**2.1 Calculation of discount.**
We are currently using a discount system based upon the sum of the total order. So if a customer orders 50? he gets a 10% discount, when he orders over 100? the discount is 15%.
The discounting needs to flexible. It must be possible to:
* Add a new discount threshold (suppose over 250? is 20%)
* Change the existing discount threshold (50? will be 60?)
The standard method for discounts in WPEC is discount on qty's per products and not per total order.
Is it possible to enhance WPEC with a discount system per order which is configurable?
**2.2 Payment methods**
We are using 3 different payment methods:
* Master/visa
* Ideal
* Direct
For master /visa we use ogone. There is standard plugin for this. This plugin needs to be implemented. [url removed, login to view]
**Ideal.**
Ideal is a payment method only used in Holland. The gold cart extension has a standard plugin "[LDB WP e-Commerce iDeal][1]". This plugin needs to be implemented.
**Direct payment**
In Holland and germany we have the option to collect the money from the back account of the customer. For this option 2 extra attributes are required (bank number and bank account). There is no access to a payment provider, just store these 2 attributes in the database.
**2.3 Delete first name**
We don't make a differentiate between first name and last name. Please allow only last name.
**2.4 Shipping cost**
The following changes are required:
? Shipping costs.
We are using 2 different shipping costs: inside Europe and outside Europe. The costs must be customizable. The shipping cost is per order and not per product.
? Calculate shipping price.
In the current installation there is an field called Calculate shipping price. Right on the first page billing contact details. This needs to be deleted, because the customer also enters the country at the billing/contact details.
**2.5 Shipping address.**
Default shipping address is the same as the shipping address. So on the first menu of the checkout the checkbox for "same as billing address" should be on, and the billing address details are not visible on the menu. Only when you deselect the checkbox the shipping address details should be visible.
**2.6 Additional attribute on products**
All the orders from the website will be collected into a back office database. Collecting the orders from the wpec database into this back office is OUTSIDE the scope of this project. What is required is a custom attribute on the products in WPEC to store the product code of the back office, because the product codes of the back office are not the same as in WPEC.
**2.7 Product slider**
A product slider is required to display the products of WPEC on various pages. I understand that the WPEC gold cart extension has a standard product slider. This product slider need to be implemented.
