Hi,
We require a scalable food recipe extension for magento. This extension must be configurable (this means you should have a configuration page in the back-end), manage costs along with inventory and generate product reports by date, products, orders, etc, where we will be able to see how much in total we have sold or need per orders, data frame, or set of orders (we can call this the production Sheet).
For this extension we want in the back-end to manage recipes where every ingredient will be a product of the recipe.
Example:
• The recipe will be “Chicken Salad” its price will be $8.99 lb (this is the item we are going to sell to our customers). For this product the cost of production is $3.75 lb. per say. Chicken Salad has the following sub-products
o Chicken with a price of $1.50 ($0.75 per oz cost) per oz, 2 ounces are required for the salad then the price will be $3.00 ($1.50 per 2 oz cost)
o Tomatoes with price of $1.50 ($0.75 cost)
o Lettuce with price of $1.00 ($0.50 cost)
o Dressing with price of $0.50 ($0.25 cost)
We want to be able to see:
• For our customers in the front-end depending on the product, we may need to display its ingredients or hide them
• The cost per product, let’s say we have 10 Chicken Salads, then the individual cost based on previous example will be $3.75 and on inventory we have 20 of them, then our inventory is worth $75
• Generate the production report where we can see the list of ingredients for the day- set of orders with quantities, total, and cost + price (this should be included on the reports area)
• We want to associate ingredients to the main product where quantities may vary depending on the recipe (i.e. for Chicken Salad we spend 2 ounces of chicken but for a chicken sandwich we spend 4 ounces)
