We need advice in the design of our network.
With the design of the network we have two main objectives:
- Optimize the internet connection
- Have the best internal speed between each PC and the servers.
General Questions:
-For best network communication with the servers, should the PCs be connected through the same switch to each server, or could they be connected through the firewall/router to the servers?
- What would be the recommendation for connecting 54 PCs and 6 servers to to each other allowing internet access to everybody? (servers provide services of SQL server, exchange email and sharepoint)
- In terms of speed are there any difference between managed and unmanaged switches?
Please check attached document with our network diagram.
