I have a very simple application that was written one year ago in VB.NET 2003. This application is used at Active Sporting events like bike races, running races, ski races and triathlons. I call the application PeakAnnounce. The application is connected to a chip timing/RFID system via a TCP/IP connection. Each participant wears a timing chip and the system picks up the chip code and time as the participant crosses over the RFID/detection point. The program than uses that chip code to look up the participants name, city, state, etc and displays it in a scrolling list box. Fairly simple application... An excel file is used to load in the participant info and then it sits in memory. A few upgrades are needed to the app. 1. I need the application to support multiple timing points. Each point would be shown in a tabbed style interface. Right now you have to have multiple instances of the application open if you want this type of support. 2. I need the application to support looking up data from a MySQL database instead of just a text file and retrieve a start time from one database table and calculate the actual time the participant has been racing based upon the time they cross an additional RFID/detection point. 3. Start times retrieved from the MySQL database would be stored in either a time of day format HH:MM:SS.000 or in milliseconds. The times coming off the timing hardware come across as seconds since 1971 and need to be calculated down to the actual Time Of Day of the current day and in the current time zone. 4. The interface where the data is shown (currently a listbox) needs to be enhanced so it can be customized to show certain fields and disable certain fields based upon the event and alternate colors row by row and show the current record in a specific color. Winner will receive source code written in VB.NET 2003. Attached to this project is a current screen shot of the application. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows XP, VB.NET 2003, TCP/IP
