TCP/IP ActiveX control

Here is the profile we'd need, these are requirements (ordered by importance): • Visual Basic 6.0 (ultra-high level) • TCP/IP and UDP/IP networking • Winsock (API and Winsock Activex control) • Encryption, advanced string manipulation • Windows API w/ bug prevention over Visual Basic • OOP and Performance side-effects knowledge And wishes (blue) (ordered by importance): • HTTP and Proxy/Firewall tweaking • Advanced mathematics, derivations, statistics. • English (high tech vocabulary) -Spanish doesn't matter. We have to develop a Visual Basic ActiveX control. The control will have a list of hosts (each host is a class with the IP of the computer and the port it uses to connect), and it will have to keep a configurable number of TCP/IP connections alive with some of those hosts, trying new hosts when some go offline and listening to get other hosts to connect to it. The purpose then is to send small (<1KB) datagrams privately and safely to any of those hosts, 1 datagram at a time. TCP/IP connections will be encrypted (The key is different for each IP), and they should have bullet-proof handshaking, timeout mechanisms and acknowledgement for each datagram sent. They will also have to implement some level of "queuing" and limit I/O to a number of bytes per second per connection and a number of bytes per second grand total. Handshaking: on each connection establishment the client host will send a configurable string, and the server will return another configurable string, both will include the key for encryption. Then both will fire the HandApprove(Client, Server, IsServer as boolean, Approved as boolean) event to get approval for the connection from external code. .. continued in attachment. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform VB/Windows
