Hi,
My name is Richard and I am from New Zealand. I have done some Amazon API work before, particularly with Product API and Marketplace API. For the data you are after, you will need API credentials for BOTH APIs.
Product API: asin | ean | sales_rank | title | manufacturer| package_dimensions | item_dimensions | lowest_new_price | additional_image_1, 2,3,4,5 | buy box | Total new sellers | category | subcategory | all_categories
MWS API: lowest_new_shipping | landed price
Notes:
1. There are usually many images available per ASIN, such as the small/medium/large/tiny/swatch/thumbnail versions of each category of primary/swatch/variant1/variant2(etc)
2. Landed price can only be worked out when shipping is known, which is only available with MWS
3. The category/sub is not a single or two fields, it can be one level or many deep. Would you rather have 2 fields, such as
Category: Pen Refills
Full Categories: "Office Products / Office & School Supplies / Writing & Correction Supplies / Pens & Refills / Pen Refills"
My understanding is you will have ASINs in a text file, let's say one ASIN per line on it's own.
You will start a Windows desktop app, which will have a button to look for the file.
You will then choose from a set of Amazon credentials (Product API + MWS separately) and which region (Japan/US/etc).
Click another button to start the process... which will create another text file output?
If you wish to discuss, please send me a message.
Regards,
Richard
