Android Date Widget Using JSON API

I want a very small app developed in which a user is able to display a date that is retrieved from the API.
There are 2 APIs
In the settings the user will have an option to display from one source or from both sources.
I will need the option to change API source using an externally hosted document when needed.
The date needs to be displayed in a nice neat manner and the app settings should be according to material design specifications.
