I need a simple and effective way to play videos from a PC folder using windows media player, VLC or other. New videos will be added to the folder and will need to be included in the video slide show automatically. This will run for up to 12 hours and will need to constantly loop and update with the new videos. Wish list would be to include a cross dissolve effect between videos.

Hi, I can make this app for you. I will build a .NET application which will monitor the target folder for new videos and add them to the playlist as soon as they are copied into the folder. Either WMP or VLC can be used as the media player. VLC can be automated by command line calls, which is the preferred way of handling the transitions between two videos. Thank you, Goran
