Hello. I am working on a WordPress website for an art Gallery website. I have purchased a premium theme and I want to change some functionality of one of the plugins.\r\n\r\nSpecifically, on this page: \r\n\r\n[login to view URL]\r\n\r\nWhen you click the individual galleries, the page launches the \"Prettyphoto\" lightbox plugin. I want to disable the Prettyphoto lightbox and instead have the click take the user to a specific page on the website (in this case, a page for each artist). \r\n\r\nFor example, if you click on \"Pat Abernathy\" on this page, I want the site to take the user to this page.\r\n\r\n[login to view URL]\r\n\r\nInstead of loading the lightbox.\r\n\r\nIdeally, the destination link can be entered into the metadata for the Wordpress gallery where these images are coming from and the final version will just pull the destination URL from the metadata. \r\n\r\nAlso, I want this to be contained in a child theme so that the functionality works and will still allow the creator of the premium theme to update the theme without overwriting these changes.

What I do is I just create a new template file and copy the code of existing one and add the changes to this file. This won't be modified when updating the theme. I can start right now and can complete within today. No need any payment until the job is done as you want. Thank you sir.
