I’m a recent graduate from Oxford University working on a student property start-up due to launch this summer. We’ve managed to raise funding and have spent the last 2 months developing our platform with some PHP developers in Moscow. Unfortunately, the developers we hired have not proved up to the task and we are now considering giving the project to an agency in the UK, to complete in Ruby on Rails. Though the code written in PHP will not be reusable we have found an excellent open source github Rails project that contains pretty much every main function we would like for our platform to have. Given our time constraints therefore we are looking for somebody customize the github Ruby code, tailoring it to our existing designs. For all intents and purposes therefore, the project could be considered an iteration on a minimum viable product, changing some existing functionality and adding to it.
