THis project requires to be developed considering the plugin architecture where in every work flow can have additional hooks or adapters which can be added as and when needed.
It can use decorators also.
Preferred Technology is PHP or Java or Python.
I contains both API based backend and Some Website -- website is basic no major flows except statistics and reporting.
The application has to shoot daily emails. to the concerned users based on various rule.
The application also needs to handle the same sharing links to Thirdparty which when clicked flows some rules.
Manage Hotel Inventory and related accounts also.
Please find the below basic requirements
1) The system has to be mostly Backend with API exposed for each task currently performed Manually and Also Generate Necessary reports. It should have website and m site build along side.
a, Inventory Management.
Upload all necessary data with flexi Pricing for each rooms
Enable and disable certain inventory based on need of day on a Single and Audited Key based.
Automatic Inventory updates as per business rules includes price, Booking Status, Check in but are not limited just to above mentioned list.
Support Inventory of Different types within same features and location with priority of booking changing based on each Location.
b Customer Booking API. and Business Flow.
Business Flows need to be Flexible and Plugable.'
Current Flow --- Customer Book as Room.
Check Availablity.
( if yes) Check Price
Redirect to payment options
If Pay At Hotel model -- Set Reminder and Reporting dates for Future reference. And generate vouchers for Both User and Hotel Owner
If Pay Now -- Apply Additional Discounts if any and redirect to payment gateways. And generate vouchers for Both User and Hotel Owner , generate invoices and Initiate payment to Hotel Owner.
C. Cancellation: Check if T&C allows refund for Case Or requires Deduction.
If Refund Initiate refund after deductions.
For Pay At Hotel . Initiate penalty payment using customers chares -- ( Currently not required).
D. Reports and Reminders:
For every Booking the Concerns CSR needs to get reminders for checkin and checkout dates.
E. Both Customer and Hotel Owners to be intimated using SMS/ Notifcations and EMail --- all modules.
All transactions to be reported on daily basis. On intimation from the CSR Make Payments online.
The above list is more or like the one needed but further details will happen once initial bids and terms are met.
Also note: Post delivery of the Project IP belongs to the Company also need 2 Weeks training to the their in-house employee if any available.
