Music Event Discovery Application

We will only consider applicants that can provide relevant sample code for us to review.** Gofest, is growing Music and Travel company with a music and travel discovery application. It is expanding and looking to hire a developer.  We’re looking for the right person to work with our in-house development. Your time will be used for developing, modifying and improving our web based software. We’re looking for an innovator who thinks outside the box. If you love the startup atmosphere, this might be the position you’ve been waiting for. You’ll be given key responsibilities for helping our customers with their technical issues and working closely with our lead developers on designing the next version of our Music Travel platform. You’ll also help us to integrate with other 3rd-party software companies. We use the following technologies to run Gofest App • Hosting on AWS using a combination of EC2, S3 and OpsWorks • Ruby on Rails (Ruby 2.x, Rails 4.x) • Postgres • A combination of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular and jQuery • Capistrano • Nginx & Passenger • Github • Experience with REST, SOAP and APIs would be a plus. The developer will work closely with the technical team and founder. You’ll be expected to learn the software quickly, be able to support it, and then work on making the software better.
