We have a Drupal 7 website and want to get a look and feel closer to this site:
[url removed, login to view]
The site will contain posts with materials for education/courses/video. Our drupal 7 site needs to be modified to have a look & feel like the [url removed, login to view] website.
Here is our current website, for reference purposes:
(We would like the changes to be done over our existing site content, we can provide you with a AWS node to reuse or a copy/backup of our current drupal 7 website, please do whatever module changes are required etc..)
Currently, it is focusing on merchandise, but we want to focus on trainings/videos and leave all the merchandise stuff isolated to a single tab/category.
When people visit the page, the first thing they should see is trainings/materials, merchandise related stuff should be in a separate tab/category.
We want our Posts to show up in the same fashion as in this site:
In the main page they should show up as a list, and have some time information showing on the right side.
You might have to modify the posts content-type so it contains a date also.
We also want our menu to be like in the general assembly page, where the menu is in the top right.
Notice also that the top right menu has subcategories, we want that too.
And our logo on the top left
And the footer of the page should be similar to the one on the general assembly page.
Here is the detailed breakdown of features to clarify project scope, so there is no confusion:
(No need to build ontop of our existing drupal 7 site, as that might just confuse things. Better to build as fresh install of drupal 7)
So, we want a clone of this:
I think it will be easier if you build it ontop of fresh drupal 7 install
so you don't have burden of other module code that the other developer wrote,
The main things we need are:
1. Log on top left corner
2. Menu for selecting course category on top right corner as well as sign-in button
(just like generalasseb.ly page)
: and then:
3. Courses listed in list format, with picture on left and a time on the right
You would need to create fake/data (content-type) that represents these courses
Finally, 4. a Footer similar to the one on general assembly page
(same look & feel as general assemb.ly page, try to copy as much)
