I am in the process of transitioning from our homegrown cms to a wordpress based cms - debating between citytours theme and tourtravel theme. Since currently I have a homegrown cms and I am in the process of evaluating vendors, I will be taking this project step by step. The first piece is going to transition the booking process and then integrate that will the current backend databases. The first phase is the trial phase and then finally we will give the project to customize full site templates, building the cms for that (or integrate with our existing one) and ongoing work. The first phase is to abstract just the booking process / engine from the theme and customizing it.
