create a database from html to mysql

I have some html i wish to grab certain information from and create a mysql database from it. Around 20 fields in total parsed from html files all are in the same format as it's a forum sites html. Your script would be looking for certain sequence of strings then saving whats there to the correct mysqld field. It's a bb2php forum and has thousands of html pages so after the first post is parsed the script will go to the next html file in sequence till finished. I will request other bits of information farsed from the htm in time but if we can grab the post number, post body and username that would be a start. other bits of data could be parsed in later updates of the script. If you can build this script let me know.
