elearning/ebook application (non-profit) for rural guatemala

Goal: Develop e-learning application for a non-profit educational group in Guatemala. Background: Currently a curriculum package is distributed via PDF, along with MP3s on a low end android tablet. App will be offline most of the time Requirements: Web based backend for management (preferably PHP+MySQL) App should target Android 2.3+ if possible. Download metadata (list of ebooks, etc), ebooks (ePub), MP3s from server. Sync updates when connected to wifi. Feedback form for each lesson. The form should store data locally and sync when connected to wifi. Send after downloading new epub or mp3 Response for content list Content list version JSON list of lessons, including URLs for epub and media Client Side Interface: Ask for email address the first time the application opens. Lesson data (list of curriculum, and content of lessons) should be downloaded to client device and synchronize on update. This will often be used on weak wifi and cell connections on low end devices. When selecting an MP3, it should be downloaded to the device with the option to play or delete after downloading. The MP3 download should be persistent between sessions.
