One of my employees have created a PHP application for a customer which creates a quote for a Dormer. My customer is creating quotes for several types of Dormers like Type A, Type B, etc.
At this moment we have finished Type A, which is the smallest Dormer and are stuck of creating the PDF output.
The application is build in PHP and when you open a specific link you can select Type A and start entering the details like, hight, width, type of roof, etc. This is a 7 step proces which asks for all kind of information.
All this information should then be put into the PDF output which needs a specific layout like a background image, deviders / lines and has prices which need to be calculated in the background and then put into the PDF output.
When Type A is finished, Type B, Type C and Type D are farely simple a copy and paste, but this will be in a second project on Freelancer.
So i am looking for experst of creating an PDF Output from a PHP application with a MySQL database.
FPDF is the only application that does PHP but the output wont be like you need on real document or the real adobe pdf so we need to compromise on few [login to view URL] i need to see whats happening right now and where the complex of coding exists. Once i see i can work on it and fix it for you. Since this is more complex work with php and pdf i will analyse first and then will charge you accordingly and also i tell you time for this fix too.

Past experience with PHP to PDF creations gives me an edge on this project. Depending on complexity of the designs either TCPDF or FPDF can be used along with a wrapper of sorts to break each requirement of the project into it's own function for unit testing and debugging.
Generally speaking I'd plan to learn the details of the project (including exact requirements and desired output with any limitations) then start with processing the form inputs to generate a price and generic description, then using the same data in create a visual representation of the dormer and appending it to the PDF for download.
