Fix Slider Display Issue and Speed Up Site - Wordpress

I created a new Wordpress site using theme The7 and need help with two tasks:
1. Fix Slider Revolution Display Issue
The site was created on a staging site with theme The7. When I pushed it to production, the Slider Revolution slider stopped displaying images on the front end (text and background still show). In the Backend, images show and animate perfectly.
2. Speed up site
After going to production, site is very slow to load.
