I have an open source navigation bar I need added to replace what I currently have. This has some nice css coding and a drop down menu which is much better than what I currently have. The most advanced coding would be fitting it in with my template and setting the dropdown to show our "CATEGORIES" so each category displays in PHP.
I need our search (next to the dropdown) to have logic put in that puts certain pages at the top of the search results. The search logic now searches the description for a word then displays the results with the latest date on top down to the oldest Post (which is fine). But I would like added logic that looks at the db and if a value exists in a column that listing shows above the current results. This should also not show pages that are “expired”. To make handling expired pages easy this shud always be a date and if that date is passed a page is expired.
My system is rights based and I need some errors corrected. This curently does not always match the correct rights to the page. I have laid out the rules, I can add the corrected code througout the site. I am just looking for the solution.
I have tried to add an open source captcha script to my site. But it does not tie into my system. Please help and see why this script does not work with my existing [login to view URL] are 3 files where I would need captcha. I had started to add this in 1 file already. There is also a template system that delivers the form. Also from the first part there is simple captcha and adding that is ok. I just need a working captcha system that works with my form.
