Hello Sir, We've done a number of web scraping projects for our clients. We have scraped many directory websites including yellowpages, yelp and e-commerce websites including amazon, walmart etc and many more. We can deliver the data very quickly. We use proxies with IP rotation to avoid being detected as bots. We use python with wget, scrapy, urllib and other tools to fetch webpages and parsers like HtmlXPathSelector, regular expressions etc to extract information from the html. Hi, This sounds as a quick and easy job, but that doesn't mean it will be in the end. I need to see these websites so I can determine how hard it would be to scrape them. It is possible that some of them aren't suitable for automatic scraping, but that happens rarely. I have over 15 years of experience as Physics and Math teacher; but, I've also done some VA work, which included scraping using Mozenda and Excel and scraping with a my custom made software. I've done multiple scraping and data collection jobs over the past two years. I'd be more than happy to start this week. Per related jobs, I've created a tool to scrape data from a travel site, that runs daily -- it logs into a site, scrapes it, saves the data (including photos) to an excel document; a tool that pulls from Yelp API and then scrapes Yelp manually to pull data that's not given via the API; a tool to automatically update spreadsheets; a selenium webscraper to scrape a property listing site and save photos and metadata to a SQL db. I just did a similar job for a logistics company (download orders, upload to routing software), so I can probably get this done very quickly.
