opencart 3 php code needed for product compare

In opencart, when the "product compare" button is clicked and there are no products selected, a custom screen should be presented to select which products to compare. The screen will consist of checkboxes and the product id's will be hard-coded into the screen. Once the user selects from the list of products and clicks on the compare button, the compare screen will display.
