We need a little help connecting to a third party service API. Our platform is LAMP. We need some PHP code to connect to the vendor's server, using SSL and a private cert, and call a few of their methods. We've tried using PHP's SoapClient class, but cannot configure the security. We then attempted to use Curl, but not making much progress. Please, only bid if you have done this type of thing before.

Hello. I have lots of experience using PHP and SOAP, equally with curl, wget, perl etc. and SSL, on LAMP platforms. I'm sure I can set you on the right track. Relevant Skills and Experience Software engineer, many years experience, specific experience with PHP / sockets, SSL, curl, wget/put, perl and LAMP. Lots of other irrelevant experience. Proposed Milestones $277 USD - Full delivery of working SOAP based code/connectivity over SSL Normally, SSL connections are managed by the server, including pushing the certificate. It might be something simple, maybe you're not connecting on the correct port/protocol etc. ; or it could be something in the library you are using.
