I need a regular expression to use with preg_match_all() in PHP. I need to extract the variables from the following text: ----START TEXT------ {contact.email_greeting}, {if $contact.custom_406 == 3}This is test text{else}This is more text.{where $[login to view URL] == 10}Nested{/if}{/if} {$[login to view URL]}{[login to view URL]} ----END TEXT------ The variables are always in the format word1.word2. They are always within {...} brackets. Sometimes they start with a $ and sometimes they don't. I only want the [login to view URL] variable name, without the dollar. So in this case it should extract: contact.email_greeting contact.custom_406 [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL]

Why has this not been done yet ? Why is it still up here, this is like a 20 minute task and like 50 people bid on this. Wish I had access to whoever posted this so I could help them out, but all they gave was a script , and I feel like there is no way to really contact them or get going on the project.
