[login to view URL] offers an SMS script to all clients to allow us to send an SMS using our RingCentral phone number. I want to build a PHP script that I can run on a VPS Server that monitors a POP3 mailbox and sends the information from the email to the RingCentral SMS API Script. The script should check the mailbox running a CRON script every minute. Emails in that mailbox will have a subject line of the SMS phone # and the body of the email will be the SMS message. So the script will read the email, contact the API and use the subject as the mobile # and the body of the email as the SMS message. EX: I send an email to sms@[login to view URL] which goes to the POP3 account on the VPS server. The cron runs the script YOU create, and if there are messages there it reads each 1 by 1 processing the message (API to RIngCentral SMS server and send the message using the subject and body of that email) then deletes the message and processes the next message if 1 is there. There should be a log file that simply shows what was sent and when for troubleshooting purposes. Programmer will need to explore/learn the RingCentral API Kit. Only need to be able to send, do not need to do anything with received SMS messages.
