Searchable/sortable/selectable table based on MySQL results

I have 2 MySQL tables which are being queried to populate a Tablesorter table.

From that, you can click on a name (ie CUAN LAW) and it expands to show information. And you can then search by the results at the top of the page or by the column names.
As you can see it is extremely slow.
I am looking for someone to streamline the process already in place or to rewrite it in a better system/way.
I also need the ability to add a few more fields (most likely in the boat info area) so when you select the boats you want and fill in the custom fields (things like special message and rate info) and then click the Create quote button it then creates a quote page based on that information.
For now I just need help (or a rewrite) of this page/functionality.
But if I find the right partner I would love to also have help with the create quote page and some other projects I have on my plate.
So to sum up.
I either need help with the existing code to speed it up and add some new functionality.
OR
A new system that can query 2 tables and return a dataset and then populate a table with that information. The table should be searchable by multiple external fields (example: location, pax, heads) and sortable by all headers.
You should be able to click on one of the results and it will bring up more information about that line item and also have some fields you can fill in.
All results will have a check box by them so when you click a button the selected line items and all custom data entered for that item get posted to another page.
