QR Ticket scan for charity events

Hi,
I have a project which im doing for free for a charity. They have been using a ticket agency for their fund raiser ticketing and the fees are vvery high. I offered to setup a WP ticket site which MEC plugin they gave us very cheap being a charity, this manages the events and ticket sales.
What i want is a php core part which reads the wp db tickets and creates qr codes and i can scan when they enter, it marks them as attended too,.
Below is the process and also images of what i would like it to be like, very plain and simple and nothing to do with the actually WP site.
This is the process.
WP SITE handles ticket purchases and events.
NEW PHP site
- Reads the event, copies the event details and customer name, ticket.
I then click on that event which shows details. I click create ticket qr, this generates the qr coded to a pdf file, which i print and give to customer.
- On the day, i click on the event and Scan QR codes, i then use my mobile to scan the tickets is they come in, this instantly marks that qr for that person as attended and time/date stamp.
- After event i can see who came in and who didnt attend.
