Web Scraping the german Google Places

Needed: Google-Businesscrawler (Web Scraping) with Php, xampp, mysql A small local php site, where i can type in a german business like „doctor“ (in german it is „Arzt“) into an input field Connecting the word „Arzt“ with every german town using the opengeo database from germany [login to view URL] (open licence) Searching the google places in germany with every combination Example: [login to view URL],9985398,7035&tbm=lcl&tbs=lf_msr:-1,lf_od:-1,lf_oh:-1,lf_pqs:EAE,lf:1,lf_ui:2 Creating a database with all company name, Street, Zip Code, City, Website URL that are listed Visiting every homepage spidering for the mail adress an inserting into the database Possibilities: • Searching for a „mailto:“ within the source code • Searching for a „(at)[login to view URL]“ within the source code • Nearly every german site has an imrint link called „Impressum“ – mostly mail adress will be found here It would be nice to have a little dashboard where we can see the necessary infos the crawler is doing Export function for a .csv data file is needed for a selected „business“ which is finished Should run on my computer using xampp Possible problems: Block by google because of too many connects with one IP (maybe install proxies or use sleep-commands) Further information: • If there is no website in google places ignore the company • If you can´t find a mail adress ignore the company • Check for double entries an delete them – no mail should be in the database twice • The script can run many days if it´s necessary (google blocks) – no need for hurry if it is safer
