We are a Canadian company looking to learn more about our customers and market and require a resource that can extract information from publicly available sources. The first test project will be to find residential and commercial customers on www.zolo.ca. This pilot project will expand in scope pending the quality of your results.
I will need you to find each list record and parse all of the information on the page into hierarchical xml or key value pairs.
The programme must be capable of completely navigating the entire site on its own and continually look for changes and updates.
I would like the app to be able to run on Linux/Python.
Please respond with your experience in doing this type of work and the approach you will take.
