I need a python or shell-based script to run on Debian 8 or ubuntu that will log into [url removed, login to view] and monitor a list of "models". If a model on the list comes online and broadcast streaming webcam video the script will record, save or archive the video to a directory on my server.

See ChaturbateRecorder or MFCRecorder (or any of the others). The script you create should run just like the ones on this site.

If you would like you can use python or shell, the use of livestreamer may be preferred since I as I understand it you could just build a "plugin" for it that would do what I'm in need of.
