Hello everyone, We would like to find a web developer to help us in creating a filter in our prestashop. It is a urgent case for us, and it should be finished in 2 weeks. Actually, the prestashop search engine display products list as results when user is searching a product. But due to the important number of products displayed, we tried Advanced Search plugin. The tool is good but it takes so much time to display results, we stopped to used it. The best solution we found is to display results as categories and not as products. For example, if a customer is searching a products and the number of results are too many, we display categories + number of products inside each one. We have about 10 suppliers gathering between 10 around 30 000 products each (total target of 100 000 to 200 000 products.) We would like to have a filtering in the top of page -research result. It will allow to display the categories in which the product is located, - by sorting them by relevance - highlighting the our in-house products which correspond, in the first position if any - giving the possibility to choose brand - indicating how many products are in the displayed categories Please feel free to contact us if you want to know more about our project.
