spring batch

Requirement Understanding/Assumptions ================================== 2/3 files are generated by some system in regular intervals(e.g. Daily) in a particular location, e.g. File System/ FTP. A batch job to be written to read the files in regular intervals. Once csv are read, parse the content for some columns in CSV. Do some transformation in the data & put the same in DB(postgres) or create a summary of the records,e.g. total records got daily, sum of particular column etc. Clarification Required ================= Following granular information are required, 1. Format of the CSV 2. Protocol/Source of the file to be specified 3. Which data would be extracted from CSV & which will be ignored. 4. Where the summary/output will be stored ,if db, table structure required. otherwise specify 5. Whether the Spring Batch will be executed standalone or in a container like tomcat Environment =========== Please mention the details of the development environment.e.g. All components(e.g. Postgres DB, FTP Server, IDE) I should install or existing environment can be accessed through cloud or VPN. Why this Proposal Should be considered ================================ Already done similar data processing & storing in java batch in earlier projects

Hello. I am a java developer with over 6 yrs experience. I would like to understand the requirement of project in detail. So, it would be great if you could just revert to this with more details.
